Understanding the Map View
The map view provides a geographic way to explore listings. It is one of the most-used features by site visitors.
Map basics
The map displays all active pre-construction projects as markers. As you zoom in, clustered markers break apart to show individual projects. Clicking a marker opens a popup with key project details.
Marker types
- Blue markers — Pre-construction projects
- Rose markers — MLS resale listings (if MLS is enabled)
- Teal markers — MLS rental listings (if MLS is enabled)
- Numbered clusters — Groups of nearby markers; click to zoom in
Filters
The filter panel allows visitors to narrow results by:
- City or neighbourhood
- Developer
- Price range
- Bedroom count
- Sales status (Selling, Sold Out, Platinum, etc.)
Filters apply to both the map markers and the sidebar list simultaneously.
Sidebar list
A scrollable sidebar shows projects visible in the current map viewport. Each card displays the project name, developer, price range, and a thumbnail. Clicking a card centers the map on that project and opens its popup.
Unified view
When MLS integration is active, the map shows both pre-construction and resale data in a single view, giving buyers the full market picture for any neighbourhood.
