Managing Testimonials
Testimonials build trust and social proof. Display client reviews prominently on your homepage.
Adding a testimonial manually
- Go to Admin > Settings > Testimonials
- Click Add Testimonial
- Enter:
- Client name
- Client photo (optional)
- Testimonial text
- Star rating (1-5)
- Date
- Click Save
Google Reviews import
If you have Google Business reviews, you can import them:
- Click Import from Google
- Enter your Google Business Place ID
- Select which reviews to import
- Imported reviews appear alongside manual testimonials
Google review imports are a one-time pull. New Google reviews are not synced automatically. Re-import periodically to keep your testimonials current.
Displaying testimonials
Testimonials appear on the homepage in a carousel format. Each card shows the client name, photo, star rating, and a quote.
Best practices for collecting testimonials
- Ask for a testimonial within one week of closing a deal, while the experience is fresh
- Make it easy: send clients a direct link to leave a Google review
- Feature testimonials from different types of clients (investors, first-time buyers, families)
- Keep testimonial text under 100 words for readability
- Always get permission before displaying a client name and photo
