Document Management
Keep all client documents organized and accessible in one place, linked to their portfolio units.
Uploading documents
From a unit detail page, click Documents > Upload. Supported file types include PDF, JPG, PNG, and DOC. Each document can be labeled with a type:
- Agreement of Purchase and Sale
- Amendment
- Deposit receipt
- Mortgage pre-approval
- Assignment agreement
- Inspection report
- Occupancy notice
Organizing documents
Documents are grouped by type and displayed in chronological order. Each document entry shows:
- File name and type
- Upload date
- Uploaded by (team member name)
- File size
Client access
If your client has a login to the portal, they can view their own documents. They cannot upload or delete documents — that is reserved for team members.
Document best practices
- Upload the signed APS within 24 hours of execution
- Scan and upload every deposit receipt the same day
- Create a naming convention: "Unit-2305-APS-Signed-2026-03-01.pdf"
- Review documents with your client quarterly to ensure nothing is missing
