Category Pages Explained
Category pages group projects by a shared attribute. They are great for SEO and for visitors who want to browse by a specific criteria.
Available category types
- Developer pages — All projects by a specific developer (e.g., Concord, Menkes, Tridel)
- City pages — All projects in a specific city (e.g., Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton)
- Neighbourhood pages — All projects in a specific neighbourhood (e.g., King West, Yorkville, Liberty Village)
- Architect pages — All projects designed by a specific architecture firm
Page structure
Each category page includes:
- A header with the category name and description
- A count of active projects in that category
- A filterable grid of project cards
- SEO-optimized meta tags and headings
How they are generated
Category pages are generated automatically from the API data. If a new developer launches their first project, a developer page is automatically created for them.
SEO value
Category pages rank well in search engines because they target long-tail keywords like "Concord pre-construction condos" or "Yorkville new condos." Each page has unique content and meta descriptions.
